1. Bush is such an asshole
for advocating the cut of VA benefits to our retired servicepeople. How coldhearted can someone be? :(

3. I agree
And I can't imagine why no one's calling him on it. It takes such blatant insensitive unmitigated gall to cut veterans' benefits when he expects those still on active duty to give their up lives for their country in his illegal war! No wonder there's a problem with ``morale!'' :grr:

6. I used some of that stuff in the email I just sent all my friends
Here it is:

Do you hate the military, but love war? If you love sending our troops into battle, but you hate them and don't give a shit about their families, you should vote REPUBLICAN!

Here's Bush's record:

-Cutting veterans benefits
-$1.5 billion cut from military housing
-Opposing healthcare legislation for reservists
-Denying Gulf War Syndrome
(8000 dead, 145,000 disabled from GWS)
-Reducing "imminent danger" pay
-Used father's contacts to avoid serving in Vietnam
-Goint AWOL from Texas Air National Guard
(May 1972 to May 1973)

But he really loves sending our brave troops into war, and even dares the enemy to attack them!!! He said about the Iraqi attacks, "Bring 'em on!"

9. I am glad that you found us. Yes, this a wonderful, supportive
community. I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't found DU. Most of my friends share my views, but I live in a very conservative area and it gets discouraging. There is a lot of support here, a lot of camaraderie, and I have learned so very much. The education I have received here is amazing. I am glad to welcome you here and grateful you are among us!:D

11. I agree with you
but Bush* is not as good at public speaking.

``The credibility of this country is based upon our strong desire to make the world more peaceful and the world is now more peaceful after our decision; the strong desire to make sure free nations are more secure -- our free nations are now more secure, and the strong desire to spread freedom. And the Iraqi people are now free and are learning the habits of freedom and the responsibilities that come with freedom.''
-- I got lost about half way through this, and I'm pretty sure Dubya did, too, Washington, D.C., Jun. 9, 2003

"The war on terror involves Saddam Hussein because of the nature of Saddam Hussein, the history of Saddam Hussein, and his willingness to terrorize himself." —George W. Bush, Grand Rapids, Mich., Jan. 29, 2003
