Senator Bob Graham continues RV vacation in Iowa
Senator Bob Graham, his wife Adele, his four daughters, his four sons-in-law, and his ten grandchildren--twenty Grahams in all--have been taking two RVs throughout the state of Iowa this week. A special website for this vacation/tour has been created

http://www.bobiniowa.com/vacation/index.html

It is unofficially titled "Invade & Persuade" by Senator Graham.

1. What gas mileage does Graham's RV get?
And what does that say about U.S. dependence on Middle Eastern oil? Couldn't he take his vacation in a fuel-efficient station wagon instead?

(Note: This is a joke. Point being, I'm so sick of all the stupid bashing of Democratic candidates. Well, except Joe Lieberman. Enough already.)

2. It runs on corn?
Thanks, I'm glad you clarified that was a joke. ;) I wouldn't have replied, but I was rolling my eyes.

Actually, speaking of dependence on Middle East oil, Graham just did a workday at an ethanol plant in Iowa, and strongly supports bio-fuel and alternative fuel research. He has several billion dollars budgeted for this in his economic plan. He's well-aware of the dangers of our dependence on Saudi oil. (Recall that it's Graham who has lead the push to de-classify those 28 pages of the 9/11 report.)

Also, Graham has supported the bills which require ethanol fuel additives. So it's quite likely there's some corn running that RV!

4. He seems to have a great family
Looking at those pictures, the 10 grandkids seem genuinely happy to be there, all together, in IOWA!!! That takes some kind of family unity to pull that off. Says alot for 'ol gramps. I like Graham too and he's got a pretty good voting record. It's fun to have so many interesting candidates to choose from.
