Mr. Obama Vs GOP
It seems like Obama gets a lot of heat on DU from what I've read, but my question is about election 2012.

If you are dissatisfied with Obama will you still vote for him opposed to GOP... or sit this one out?

1. I'm voting for Obama. Republicans really want you to sit it out. They are the Chainsaw of Doom

3. +1.
Republicans would love nothing more than if the left is ticked at Obama and reluctant to vote for him and the Democrats running for Congress, as opposed to enthusiastically working to elect a new, Democratic Congress.

2. You apparently don't understand the Democrat's mind.
We argue, have different opinions, disagree with what the president is doing and in general make noise..but never forget, we WILL vote for Obama. He may have his faults but the alternate is god-awful horrid, to even contemplate having one for president makes most of us ill.

4. Amen
"god-awful horrid" is perfect. I try really hard not to think about the possibility.

5. I suppose not...
As a new member of this community, I became worried when most of what I read was negative about the president. Just worried that people wouldn't want to be associated with "a failed president" as I've seen him mentioned on this forum. The default being the republican is awfully scary in general, but even more so with the collection of candidates we have before us. I just am worried people aren't motivated enough to go out and vote in general.

6. Certainly, there are folks here who could care less about elections,
and will keep posting negativity about this President, and nothing but.

They are the folks who care passionately soooo much about every issue,
till they don't really give a shit. No use in trying to reconcile that.....
can't be done.

7. Yeah, I was kind of laughing about that to myself this morning
Democrats are usually fairly intelligent and able to form their own independent opinions. They are confident enough to believe in their own opinions. Multiply that by a few hundred million and it's a wonder we can agree on anything.

Republicans are a hive mind. They are the world's largest top-down criminal enterprise. Since the dawn of mankind, the regressive infantile hive-minders have been manipulated to thwart progress. The arguments we're having today have been always with us. I'm afraid they always will be.
