Our army is pushing to become our police

Any thoughts? It's been almost 10 years since 911 with no substantial attacks since, yet the "Global War on Terror" fear machine is pushing to become our domestic police. Good times.

1. Looks as if the report is over a year old and
it appears to be historical in it's analysis from what I read. There is always planning going on, viewpoints discussed, papers written expressing those viewpoints and alike. This really seems to be just more of that. Of course the military has plans to operate domestically, they would be needed in case of natural disaster or attack on the mainland. They have been used to enforce the law... was that not federal troops in Little Rock, AK at a school? Yes, they have been used in situations with which we would most likely disagree, but times and situations change.

2. What a difference a century makes
The southern conservatives pushed for the Posse Comitatus Act, and now their descendants want to shelve it.
