If Mike Bloomberg runs in 2012 he will win
I have been thinking about this all day and after listening to some very interesting exit polling from Tuesday on NPR, stating that over 40% on Americans consider themselves independents and many more Democrats and Republicans are dissatisfied, it is my belied that someone viewed as a qualified Independent like Mike Bloomberg would easily win the 2012 Presidential election, especially after what I expect to be 2 years of utter gridlock with the GOP dominated house....Since it seems both Senator Reid and the President were quick to yet again, even after this election talk about bi-partisanship...if they really are that clueless, then someone like Bloomberg could win with ease, trouncing the Republican nominee and President Obama.

Flame away...

4. Bloomberg is a nightmare scenario.
But nightmares don't bother me, I would find something to laugh at about it, but it would get pretty bad for most people.

7. That's the rumor. A self-funded independent.
Nader, with billions.

8. If he ran as an independant, he'd lose, and that's not Mike.
The ony way I can ever see him running is if he really believd he would win! He could run as a Pub since he's been a Pub & a Dem before, but the Pub elites would never have that, and the Dems don't want him unless Obama states he desn't want the job anymore, and if he did I sure wouldn't blame him!

10. He could run in both primaries at once
and get trounced in both of them at the same time.

11. Shouldn't he *succeed * at something first?
Aside from making a lot of $$ that is?

To most of us here he's Mayor "Disgusting" ( as in... " repealing the term limits law would be *disgusting*."

Or Mayor "Hole in the Ground".

Yeah... a real go -getter, this one.

12. This sort of conjecture is ludicrous. At best, he'd be a John B. Anderson.
At worst, a Nader.

13. Or not.
I think independent for president would be good but I don't have this feeling that Bloomberg is one of them.
