If the Democrats can't cash in on the Republican failures to GAIN seats in November....
...then one has to seriously question if the current leadership is worthy.

Thoughts? Comments?

thanks,

2. I'm frustrated, too.
I feel, as you do that the behavior of the Republicans should serve to motivate progressives to vote in the fall. Unfortunately, it seems to be having the opposite effect. I can't understand it. I know there are several issues to be disappointed about. However, Rachel Maddow recently did a terrific rundown of this administration's accomplishments. Hopefully the DNC will have the courage to tout those accomplishments once campaigning gets underway in earnest.

3. I've been doing petitioning
here for the September primary. Only dems. It ain't looking too good. Finance bill and healthcare bill not liked at all. People see right through it as a corporate giveaway. Keep hearing how the parties are the same.

There was so much hope that things would change in '08.

4. Personally

I think we're in for an ass kicking this Nov. I am not voting for Reid in Nov. because of his killing the Yucca Mtn. project, because of him NV lost 10 billion a year from the Feds. which would have created hundreds of jobs and given NV a surplus. I am voting none of the above.

5. And a GOP candidate would have voted for it?
I'm truly asking.

People who want to punish their own party members by staying home or by voting for the opposition need to make sure that they don't cut off their nose to spite their face.
