Who runs Obama's campaign
Any insights out there as to who is running Obama's campaign, the candidate, or campaign consultants?

4. I think definitely Obama. I see the fine hand of an old-school-trained community organizer...
...behind the structure and strategy. He may have pros honchoing the execution, but the strategy is his, and he learned it on the streets of Chicago and from working with real grassroots organizations like ACORN.

If the other local campaign offices are being run anything like the one here (and from the website and the evidence of the tools and strategies the local staff were using I think a good many of them are,) this is a 21st-century updating of the old ward-by-ward, street-by-street machine that used to deliver solid victories for Democrats in the big cities during the civil rights and labor movement eras. They are concentrating on neighbor-to-neighbor communications, viral marketing techniques, word-of-mouth (and text-of-blackberry) communications relays, and a minimum --but a strong, focused minimum-- of centralized control.

This is power to the people, old-style. That doesn't read like consultants to me.

But I could be wrong.

speculatively,
Bright

5. I think you are spot-on about the community organizing thing
I've done a bit of that myself and understand what you mean. Barack really is taking
community organizing to the next level with his stellar candidacy.

Rock on Barack!!!
