I helped to re-organize my precinct yesterday...

It was a good feeling! Apparently, our precinct had not had an "organization" (slate of officers, etc.) for several years. I was able to help call people to do that (including our next-door neighbor!) and we did it. So now I'm the new Precinct Chair of Wilmington-23! :D

Plus, I get to help represent our precinct at the County Caucus (first time North Carolina will do this) for president on April 17.

Encourage everyone there to go to the Caucus. They are much better then just voting.

There something about sitting there and realizing as you look at a piece of paper and talk to your neighbors that just one vote that you can change makes the difference if a delegate goes one way or another.

Also, it's pretty cool to come out of it as delegate for a candidate. I got to be a delegate and this year I hope to go as far as I can.
