NH is still open for Kerry
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&ncid=1963&e=3&u=/ap/20031214/ap_on_el_pr/undecided_voters&sid=96378798

Perhaps this tight primary race will go with the flow til the last minute. States may be keen on seeing what the results are before they cast their votes in stone. I have recently despaired about Kerry's chances because of the Gore endorsement, but if all those endorsements did not do much for John Kerry, Al Gore or the NJ governor may do little for Howard Dean. Depending on what the first primaries indicate, all cards are wild.

1. Kerry hasn't given them a reason to vote for him so far,
what makes you think that'll change?

2. it's not over until its over
so you are right to continue to work hard for Kerry and hope for the best. The voters will decide not the polls.

3. I like this statement for its simple truth...
"I think the play in New Hampshire goes right up until primary day,"Donahue said. "I don't know if Dean has peaked or if he can maintain the base he's got, but those who haven't signed on with Dean appear to be shopping around."

I think that is the case for all the states that have a good amount in the undecided.

5. Well, if it's someone talking about Dean "peaking" again

I know how reliable of a guide they are.

Considering how many times Dean's peaked this campaign, we might as well start calling him Timothy Leary.

4. The title and the article are at variance
The undecideds in Iowa could make a difference but look what is actually said about NH:

snip>
"You're getting into a situation where you can give any of the eight candidates the undecideds and it doesn't make a difference," said pollster Dick Bennett of the American Research Group in Manchester. His poll, released Thursday, showed the undecided count at just 15 percent in the state.
