The Big Mistake about the Capture
So here's the biggest mistake everyone is making about the capture of Saddam. The fighters in Iraq aren't fighting for Saddam, or to save him, or to fight for his cause. They are fighting against the occupiers, just as anyone one of us would in the US if a foreign nation invaded us and decided to tell us what to do with our country, or did it for us.

The fighting will intensify as we make Saddam a martyr. The nationalists will fight back because they are fighting against a foreign oppressor, the U.S. Did North Vietnam fall when Ho Chi Minh died? No, and I don't believe that the Iraqi fighters will.

So let's get our butts in gear and double our efforts to get the lying bastard out of the White House. Go register voters!

Yaron

1. do you hate America?
it is treason to talk about what is actually going on in Iraq. Your duty as a citizen is to repeat, and believe, whatever our Brave and Holy Leader-God claims to be the daily (or hourly) Official Truth

thinking for yourself is communist, nazi-like behaviour that must be eradicated for the sake of freedom of thought

(all written in hopefully obvious sarcasm  )

4. LOL!
Unfortunately, a lot of people are, indeed, only thinking what their Great Holy Leader and his minions and media whores are telling them what to think.

2. A most cogent point.
I think he was becoming irrelevant. Now that he is accounted for, we'll just keep on keepin' on. Folks will soon realize this is no time to roll down the sleeves. It is quite similar to a "Mission Accomplished" moment.

"what goes up must come down" It is the law of the universe, the when hopefully by 2004 is the only question now for Bush and his cohorts.

8. What I'm wondering is
if the attacks against Americans and Iraqis continue, will there be any reports? Or will there be a press blackout since Saddam is in custody and obviously all Iraqis will finally welcome us with flowers?

10. Within the dirt hole
the special forces found a sophisticated command center where Saddam was navigating his loyalists. Kidding of course. Well at least this bit of silliness will come to an end.
