Anti-Recall Campain: WI DU'ers
Edited on Mon Jul-28-03 12:01 PM by Homer12
Attention!!

Those in Wisconsin whom are sick and tired of the abuse of the political system by the conservatives and repulicans in our state....

...Who are disgusted by the un-ethical, sleazy nature at which a minority of voters can attempt to over-turn an election of a politician and marginalize the majority vote.

I'm serious we have to start orginizing, networking, and getting information to stop them.

We have to start NOW just in case they launch a recall campain in the winter and spring of 2004. They already have the infrastructure, knoweldge, expeirence, and AM radio on their side.

Much can happen till then, maybe they won't even try if Doyle can get out of their tax-freeze trap.

It will be better to be prepared now, then be stratching our heads later when they over-turn an election and place one of their bank-rolled politicans in the Governers Mansion.

What they want to do is a slap-in-the-face to democracy and an abuse of EVERYONES rights as voters.

1. recall
The way to get at the recall Repukes is to accuse them of negating the right of the ballot box. I can see recalls for a corrupt politician and that is what recalls were meant to be for. But to recall a legally elected official because he did something your party disagrees with is totally wrong. Letters to the Editor should hammer away at the point of how recalls destroy the voting process. We could also point out the number of Tommy Thompson vetoes that occurred and how TT ran us into the ground with spending and stupid tax rebates. The WI Repukes should just "get over it" regarding Jim Doyle's election. That's what they tell us about the Florida fiasco.
