Austin-Race for the White House Sunday May 16

Come out to Auditorium Shores on Sunday, May 16th at 11am and help us continue to build momentum for John Kerry!! One of the most important things we can do in this campaign is SHOW OUR SUPPORT. On a beautiful day in May, more than 5,000 people travel through the hike and bike trail. Our goal is simple: Show them that Austin is "Kerry Country." We'll take a 30-45 minute walk around Town Lake, followed by picnic. There is no registration fee -- the only requirement is that you wear a John Kerry for President T-Shirt. Shirts will be available at the event for $10. We'll meet at the Stevie Ray Vaughn statue (near the 1st St. Bridge) at 11am
