Action Alert: Bannering for Kucinich event at Northrop, Tues 2/17

We've prepared a 12-foot banner for the bannering event over 11th Avenue in the I-35W/I-94 Commons area of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

This is to announce the huge "Rally for Peace, Jobs, and Justice" going on at Northrop Auditorium on the University of Minnesota (Minneapolis east bank), on Saturday, Feb. 21st - Keynote Speaker Dennis Kucinich, with Dr. Patch Adams, and fabulous musical acts as well. This banner should be read by thousands of cars. Bring any and all large Kucinich placards, banners, or signs with you. Assemble on the bridge.

Time: 4:00 p.m.
Place: 11th Avenue Bridge over I-35W/I-94
Date: Tuesday (tomorrow)

Two thoughts:

1. People who are more familiar with that neighborhood might want to chime in on parking options. I don't know anything about parking around there.

2. This banner is huge. It's very likely that we'll be staging a bannering event every day from Tuesday onward (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - maybe even Saturday).
