SiCKO *EXTREMELY* Limited Showings at AMC Theaters ~ HELP!
Please pass this along. It seems that the AMC theaters in the Kansas City area are only showing SiCKO on one screen, way out in Olathe, Kansas, on the very outskirts of the KC Metro area. I tried several zip codes around the country to see what AMC theaters are showing it, and I'm getting the same thing... it's either not showing anywhere in that market on opening day, or only at one or two theatres.

Please encourage your visitors to contact AMC Theaters and demand that they offer this movie, under theat of boycott even. There's not much time but if you get the word out fast we can have legions of harried theater managers eager to right this wrong.

Please help on this!!!

Here's their corporate contact info

AMC SELECT
AMC Theatres
920 Main Street
Kansas City, MO 64105

You can find your local AMC theaters by going to this web page and contact the managers of those theaters directly.

You can also use this contact form to let AMC's Investor Relations know how you feel.

Please send this to or post it wherever you think can help.

1. If they sell out, they'll add screens.
Money is amazingly persuasive.

2. Here in Dallas, it isn't on AMC screens.
It's at the Angelika, and it's running on three screens there all day long. The Angelika will take the money.

6. That's it??? In the whole KC Metro???
F-911 opened at every theater in town just about... I wonder what's up here. Probably they can't make room for it, what with important movies like "Knocked Up" and "Even Almighty" that need to be seen. :(

8. Live Free Die hard = 2700 screens - Sicko = 440 screens - check this out,
I live in the Fort Merys - Naples area of Florida, out of Dozens of Multi-screen theaters the only one that supposedly is showing sicko (out in the boondocks) lists streets to take right and left on that don't even exist?!!!

Asking the locals for directions none ever heard of the streets mentioned in mapquest driving directions.
But Florida probably being the retirement capitol of the US. I don't think the healthcare people want the residents to see the Sicko movie. Bummer!

10. Sicko completely disappeared from my area.
I can't find any theater showing "Sicko" within 60 miles. And this is in New England.
