CRITICAL VOTE FOR CLEAN MONEY COULD BE THIS WEDNESDAY!

Senator Perata has heard the outcry for a change in the way we finance election campaigns and stated strong public support for AB 583. As he said:

"Currently, the system is weighted to favor those who have the greatest access to financial resources. We need to fix this problem."

Now the make-or-break Senate Elections Committee vote might be this Wednesday and Senator Perata's leadership will be absolutely crucial. He needs to tell the committee members how many Californians are asking for Clean Money and help convince them that California needs AB 583. Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez's leadership made the difference in the Assembly. Senator Perata needs to show the same leadership in the Senate.
