My local paper, The St. Petersburg Times, ran a terrific article on the whole Rovegate business this morning. Yesterdays paper was full of letters condeming Rove and the White House coverup. This thing is growing legs!

Check out the article:

3. It has a reputation
as being a liberal paper. They, like the rest of the MSM, have been pretty careful about what they have been saying the past few years. They have not been on the forefront of investigating the misdeeds of this administration. But I believe that the phenomenal pressure put on them the past few weeks has forced them to look more closely at the Rove/Turdgate subject. They covered the Schaivo affair well, but they took a great deal of time before they got around to the DSM. I think the jailing of Judith Miller opened a lot of eyes. Even though Judith Miller is probably a tool of the administration, she is also a Pulitzer Prize journalist. They have pissed off the media by jailing one of their own.

4. Because it's Rove, and he was the "enforcer"

The enforcer can't enforce anymore!
