Ask your Reps to attend this Presentation on Peak Oil

Congressman Roscoe Bartlett will be giving a second Peak Oil related presentation to the US Congress this month. The speech will be more solutions orientated.

April 19th is the currently scheduled date.

The last speech was held in a special night session of Congress with very little attendance. The speech received almost no mainstream media coverage. However US residents can now approach their congressperson and ask them what they think we should do about the matters raised in the Congressional record, March 14, Items 54 and 55.

Actions Needed:

1 - Please call your Congressmen/women and ask them to attend this presentation! It is imperative that our elected representatives understand this issue. Time will be made available for them to ask questions and debate the issue.

2 – Please write letters to the editor of your local papers expressing your hope that your Representatives attend this presentation. Mention your Rep by name in the letter. Congressional staffers keep a close eye on letters that mention their reps by name and it is said to have more impact than a single email or letter.


Oil is a finite resource which will run out at some point in time. You can debate when that may be, but to safeguard the future for our grandchildren, it is not an issue we can ignore. Our representatives need to be aware of changes that may need to be made now in order to preserve our economy for the future. The future may be closer than we think.

Please make those calls. Write those emails. Write that letter to the editor!
