Tonight at 6 p.m. tonight live web cast with American Troops back . . .
from Iraq.

I got the following email on 2/15/05.

It tells me to forward it so I'm passing it along. It's up to you whether or not you participate. I am not endorsing this nor do I have any affiliation with Operation Truth except to receive their updated newsletter. So if you are interested, the URL is posted below as well as the email. If you are not interested, just ignore this post. Thanks.

Dear Operation Truth Supporter:

On Thursday February 17th at 6pm EST, Operation Truth will host a free one-hour, interactive web cast featuring four Veterans of the War in Iraq! Please join us

(click the URL below for all of the details and about setting up your audio)

This is a great way to hear directly from the Troops! The panelists will talk about the latest issues surrounding the war in Iraq and present their first-hand accounts of the war, as well as their opinions on issues facing our troops.

Each panelist will speak briefly about his personal experience for roughly ten minutes. After the panelists speak, they will answer questions you submit!

Remember to visit us a little bit early to test your connection and get set up! It's easy and free. The event is open to anyone who wants to listen, so forward this invitation on to friends!

Best Regards,

The Operation Truth Staff

During combat operations F troop supported 870 flight hours over a period of twenty-one days while moving 700 kilometers through enemy territory without the loss of a single soldier. He returned in June of 2003. His next assignment will be as an Associate Professor of History at the United States Military Academy. His awards include the Bronze Star, the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, and the Humanitarian Service Medal.

Perry Jefferies: from Texas, served as First Sergeant with the Army 4th Infantry Division in Iraq during Operation Freedom. Perry was frustrated by the problems he encountered as he tried to take care of his soldiers--including over-extended troops, deplorable living conditions and the lack basic necessities including food, water and supplies. Jefferies was also angered by his inability to prevent the looting that followed the U.S. invasion.

Sean Huze: from Louisiana, enlisted as a Marine on September 12th, 2001. On February 6th, 2003, he left with his battalion for Kuwait in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. They pushed the furthest north of any Marine Corps unit during major hostilities and were singled out for their tenacity, courage and effectiveness.
