I signed a petition (on pro-choice America action network website) regarding the medical privacy issue--apparently it went directly to the white house. This is what I got back from them--

Um, yeah...right--thank you. Like they give a shit that I don't want him to take away women's right to choose. Now I've probably been added to some list of dissenters in the states--lovely.

In fact, I just got one back from them, tonight, on the same issue. Don't worry about it. I've even e-mailed John Ashcroft, and have a friend who has actually written him, and we've lived to tell the tale.:-)

5. I wasn't worried, before, since I truly believed that the Bush* cabal

was history. But my friend just asked me if I thought we were on some list. Her sister hopes to take in a foster child, so she wonders if she might be an impediment, since she frequently babysits. I told her that I thought that there are just too damn many of us to keep track of, but I still feel uneasy.:shrug:
