I was looking for a grassroots organization to get involved in and I was wondering what I should look to/for. Any advice would be appreciated. I am going to return to Democracy for America but was also looking for something a little more community based and active like ACORN (they were instrumental in getting the raise in minimum raise in Florida). Does anyone else have experience with them or have ideas of places I should look into.
