This is the latest missive I got in my email from them, dated October 24th:
Dear ************,
Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer Mystery Voter on Election Day! Your volunteer commitment will help ensure that we have a strong democracy in place, allowing all votes to be counted as cast. You are making a difference!
Common Cause and Votewatch have many ways for citizens to volunteer on Election Day. When you registered with Votewatch, you indicated that you would like to participate as a Mystery Voter. As a Mystery Voter, you will vote during a specific 15-minute time slot at your polling location and, after you vote, you will answer a few questions about the voting experience from Votewatch via our website or our toll-free fax number.
In the next week, you will receive a step-by-step instruction sheet from us explaining what to do on Election Day. This information will also be available on the Votewatch website: www.votewatch.us
Thank you for your involvement with this important project! Your commitment is what makes our democracy strong!
We look forward to working with you.
Chellie Pingree President, Common Cause Steven Hertzberg Founder, Votewatch
P.S. Your Votewatch username is ********. If you have already voted via absentee ballot or early voting, or if you no longer wish to participate in this program, please update your profile at www.votewatch.us/plone_memberprefs_panel so it does not include Mystery Voter status. After updating your Votewatch profile, you will no longer receive emails regarding this program.
I've logged in successfully to their site a couple of times in the last week but can't find any new information. I'm as stumped as you are.
