Taking my wonderful wife of 30 years to see one of her favorites in the New Orleans Sport Arena next tuesday night. An afternoon in the French Quarter buying tacky t-shirts for siblings; dinner on Royal Street, cab to the concert and back again afterward. Bead throwing from the balcony of TI on Bourbon to tourists exposing their breasts until early morning; spend the night in one of NOLA's finest hotels in the quarter; 3 mile run at dawn along the muddy Mississippi; Cafe Aulait and beignets at Cafe Dumond; peruse the Times-Picayune by the pool; check out at noon; a Blackened Catfish Po-boy and a side of gumbo washed down by unsweetened tea for lunch and then home. I love my wife.
