How can we talk directly to soldiers who are over there now?

Y'all, please help me keep this thread kicked for awhile.

Suppose someone wanted to find out what's REALLY going on over there. As I see it, the only way to find out is to avoid the Media Whores altogether and talk to soldiers who are there, seeing it every day.

1. Is this possible? How?

2. I know some of them have e-mail access -- are their e-mails censored? Are some branches more likely to be censored than others?

3. Are there soldiers over there with blogs?

Forgive me if these are stupid questions; I just want to know.

They're told what they CAN'T reveal. Most conversations are pretty superficial (How are you? It's hot here. Etc...)
