What's on your dinner table for Easter?
We are having a turkey!

Yes I know - ham is the "traditional" meal, but my partner is celebrating Passover, and I'm not crazy about ham dinners

so it's Turkey for us!

yeah, I'm not kidding. It's just me. Husband stationed in a different state (15 hours away), my family 12 hours away. In-laws 90 minutes away... nevermind.

We can't find good kielbasa down here in DC. My mom usually makes a babka but I guess she isn't this year.

Ham, plus turkey breast and a brisket I'm smoking overnight cuz my sister is now a sort of messianic jew and won't eat ham anymore.

Fresh horseradish to go with the ham
baked beans to go with the brisket (sorry, sis, they've got my homemade bacon in 'em!)
cole slaw
potato salad

I'm also making cream cheese braids----think lovely, long loaves of cheese danish. yum!
