Bruce Willis is INSUFFERABLE!!!
Forgive me if there's been a thread about this already, but did anyone see this prick on Letterman last night? He practically commandeered the show. I tuned in for only about five minutes and it was just too much. From the commercials I saw he apparently did some Donald Trump wig thing and then he did a chia plant hair thing; when I tuned in later he was talking nonstop in that smug, self-satisfied way of his, wearing huge bunny slippers, doing a bit about StarBruce coffee (StarBruce, get it?) and then the motherfucker brought out a GUEST (Matthew Perry). Willis is the guest on Dave's show and he brings out his OWN guest. If you'd never seen a talk show before you'd have thought that Willis was the host. He starts in with some skit with Perry but by that point I'd had enough. I switched over to late night "Frazier" reruns. He did everything but sing and dance--or maybe he did that after I'd tuned out. If time had allowed he'd probably have done "Hamlet" as a one man show. The only thing missing was a bunch of flashing arrows around him. Letterman has this asshole on all the time. Why?!?! For the love of God, why?

2. He also did the pop-in on The Daily Show.
Jon was interviewing Matthew Perry, and then Willis entered and commandeered the rest of the show.

18. They're in a movie together.
First it was "The Whole Nine Yards". Now the sequel "The Whole Ten Yards" is out. :eyes:

4. It's probably some schtik they've taking from his mobster character
from the whole ten yards.

The only thing remotely interesting in that movie is Amanda Peet, and whether or not she'll be uhh fully reprising her last role.

5. The Whole Nine Yards hand ONE funny scene
Perry running into a glass door. That was it.

I couldn't believe it when I saw the first ad for The Whole Ten Yards (which makes no sense). WHY?!?!?!?

8. I used to have no problem with Willis until...
...I saw "The Last Boy Scout". Everything that is wrong with Bruce Willis can be seen in that movie. This was before I even knew he was a Republican. It's just one of those movies that can turn you off to an acotr. I just think to myself that anyone who would want to star in something like this has to be an asshole. Check it out, you'll see what I mean.

9. My favorite Bruce Willis movie.
Edited on Wed Apr-07-04 09:35 AM by Why
The Sixth Sense. That's the one where eleven year old Haley Osment blows him away professionally on screen. That's gotta kill him. Osment got closer to that gold statuette at the age of 11 than Bruce ever will.

Edit: Oh, I forgot. The obligatory I See Dumb People jpeg.

10. I was there one day...
when Bruce got 'his'. He'd been recently quoted in the LA Times as saying that movies cost too much to make because of the union crews. He felt they were vastly overpaid. Well, he came to our set to visit...and the grips and juicers up high sprinkled some of their relief cups on him as he left- just enough for him to know what 'hit' him. He's certainly no favorite of the working stiff.

11. one of the Planet Hollywood Poster Children for Plastic America
Bu$h landing on the USS Lincoln and Willis/Perry are Entertainment Tonight in Superficial Plastic USA

fits in and correlates with corporate america where the good ol'boy type incompetence floats to the top, and get paid gazillions for being mediocre

Why not our worse?

15. Too bad Frazier's just as much a puke as Willis is
I tuned Frazier out a couple years ago when I heard about Grammer vilifying "the damned liberals."

The "check on your neighbors" link that was being passed around a couple weeks ago? I did a zip code search around Hollywood. Very enlightening. He and his nauseating bimbo wife each gave $2000 to the pukes.

I HATE Kelsey Grammer. Almost as much as Willis. Obnoxious, no talent, coke fiend jerk.

...should give you an idea of just how insufferable Willis was last night.

Better than giving a babysitter-molesting repuke donator any ratings, IMO.

23. I like David Hyde Pierce...
...so whenever I find myself watching "Frazier" it's for him. I'm sorry if Kelsey Grammer gets something out of it.

19. Nothing new...
...he has always been an egotistical j-off, going all the way back to his "moonlighting" day's. None of the cast of that show could stand him even back then...

20. He's done the chia thing before...
...and fortunately, I saw a preview of Willis last night, which enabled me to avoid the show. Even if I liked his movies, and mostly I don't ("Last Boy Scout" was kind of amusing), he's a LOUSY guest who isn't funny or tolerable.

He must have been having another "ME ME ME" moment. He was having lots of them last night. No bounty though.
