Poll question: Would you wear this shirt to church?
Edited on Mon Dec-05-11 02:17 AM by ButterflyBlood

I almost did but chickened out and put on a different band shirt (this one: http://www.b9store.com/product/2015) Now I'm kind of regretting it since I doubt anyone would care. I'm thinking of experimenting to see if anyone would notice shirts with profanity or such images on them, I think it'd also be fun to test that in a far more conservative church full of old people. My church is the type where people are known to sell and share weed at small group meetings.

1. I once wore a shirt with a lab rabbit stabbing a researcher on it to church.
I hadn't really planned to do so, but I forgot to bring an appropriate change of clothes. Other people were wearing pajama pants and flip flops, so I guess I could have done worse.

I got more weird looks for walking in with a cup of Starbucks, I hadn't realized the church has it's own coffee shop. :eyes:

2. I actually once did a wear shirt with a lyric on the back that included the word "fuck"
But it's small print, so it's very possible that no one noticed.

3. I didn't wear the other shirt I had with me, because it had a giant pentagram made out of forks,
and read "praise seitan". I figured church people might not get the joke.

4. No, but....
Only because you couldn't get me into a church in the first place.

5. Me, personally, no. I take my mom to a church
full of mostly elderly people. Somebody might have a heart attack if they saw that, and I wouldn't want to be responsible.

6. No- Provoking/upsetting church people on their own turf (literally) isn't cool.

7. Probably need a third choice
This is like asking me if I'd flap my wings and fly to to the moon or to Mars

9. Probably not
Probably not. Figure if I can't make a point on my own without visual aids, my argument probably lacks coherence; and if I'm making a point simply for the sake of making a point, I'd do myself a better service by reevaluating the relevance of poking my fingers in other people's eyes in my life.

But that's just me...

11. no offense but, I wouldn't wear that shirt anywhere much less church.
just not my style. the cut is too boxy and mannish and the graphics are "childish" for lack of a better word.

to each his own, I guess.

13. Nope but
that is because I wouldn't go to church BUT

I used to go to church twice on sunday, Wednesday night and thursday visitation. I wouldn't wear anything less than a 3 piece suit to church.

Some days, though, I would be super-rebellious and unbutton the collar button behind my tie.

When I was a church-goer there was never an occasion where I would have worn a t-shirt to services. Of course I would wear t-shirts to youth activities like softball and football games.
