2. It certainly looks real.
I don't know jack about planes or flying, but if that's a fake, it's a pretty good one.

3. Something bothers me too
Something about the way the plane's nose bounces and the smoke coming from the tires. But what's strange is I stepped through it, it seemed real. Just weird when it's playing at regular speed.

4. It is very real. I have already seen it.
A colleague at ALPA Central Air Safety sent it to me. It is an Airbus A-319 (or A-320). I watched a US Airways Shuttle A-319 to the exact same thing on La Guardia's 7000-ft runway 27. That side-stick control for the Airbus fly-by-wire is very sensitive, so I am told.

I never flew the Bus. I was a long-time Boeing 737 driver. Toward the end I flew the MD-80, which really made me appreciate the B-737.

5. No wonder I hate riding on Airbuses.... I always thought the ride
sucked. Maybe pilots are trying too hard to fly the wire?

6. Stiff wing, like the Fokker jets (F-28 and F-100)
That was one good thing about that limber MD-80 wing: Good ride. Same for the B-737. Nothing really to do with control systems.
