8. It's happened to me a couple of times.

You will get a message saying that you cannot connect to the service at this time.

Fortunately, I've never had an outage that lasted more than an hour or two, and they've been very rare.

10. The first problem I had was that I was unable to login.

That produced a message like (paraphrasing here) "Your username or password doesn't match what is on file for your account. If you'd like to change your password please click here."

I clicked the 'change password' link, which is supposed to send you and automatic email with a link to change your password, but never got an email from them until hours later when the system was back up and running and I didn't need it.

I then called their 888 customer service number (that isn't on their web site as far as I can tell) and got a recorded message that said, "We are experiencing system interruptions and are working to fix the problem."

30 minutes to an hour went by, and eventually the login error message changed to something like, "Netflix streaming is temporarily unavailable. We regret the inconvenience".

Now everything appears to be working, but I'm getting the aforementioned 'change your password' auto-email over and over from them and its starting to clog my in box.

Never once, of course, was I able to speak to a real person.
