As careful as I was yesterday, I came into contact with poison ivy or something like it.
Not to bad, just a little on my arms.

Bactine is taking care of the itch.

Could be worse.

2. I had a tube on hand.
I think poison oak is worse, that was terrible.

4. I actually found that putting VICKs on it and then keeping it covered
for a few days was the best healing, with no itch. I used gauze and taped it to the area.
the mentholated petroleum jelly draws out and dries the rash. ( also great for mosquito/fire ant bites)

5. Dandruff shampoo will dry it right up...
I am very allergic to poison ivy, and the shampoo worked wonders.
