I made s'mores in the microwave yesterday. Not a recipe I would repeat.

The marshmallow got very big, the size of a softball. At first the s'more was good because the marshmallow was very chewy like stale marshmallows get (I like them stale) but then as it cooled it became more cement-like.

Just in case you are interested in trying this yourself, I would have to give this recipe a 1 star and suggest that the traditional campfire cooking method is best. :-)

1. You can wrap them in foil and make them in the oven

It's not as good as roasting a marshmallow, but it works.

2. Not into s'mores, but saw those new honking huge campfire marshmallows in the store. Sugar high!

3. My middle son is in the US Army and is currently south of Kabul

I am sending him the following items in a care package.

1-Jar of marshmallow cream
2- tube of chocolate frosting
3- box of Graham crackers
