Well I think it's fine, building jumbo planes.
Or taking a ride on a cosmic train.
Switch on summer from a slot machine.
Get what you want to if you want it, 'cause you can get anything.

I know we've come a long way,
We're changing day to day,
But tell me, where do the children play?

Well you roll on roads over fresh green grass.
For your lorryloads pumping petrol gas.
And you make them long, and you make them tough.
But they just go on and on, and it seems you can't get off.

Oh, I know we've come a long way,
We're changing day to day,
But tell me, where do the children play?

When you crack the sky, scrapers fill the air.
Will you keep on building higher
'til there's no more room up there?
Will you make us laugh, will you make us cry?
Will you tell us when to live, will you tell us when to die?

I know we've come a long way,
We're changing day to day,
But tell me, where do the children play?

I haven't thought about Cat Stevens (now Yusef Islam) in a long time, and just got the urge to listen to him :)

1. The first time I heard Cat Stevens...
...I was in college. I was 20 I think, and I got chickenpox, sometime in April. I went to school in New England and the winter was long and cold... The spring was finally coming, and though I wasn't sick any longer (the actual fever only lasted 3 days), they kept me locked up in the school infirmary for 3 weeks because I was still contageous (they actually had a big red sign that read "ISOLATION" on the door of my room). It was big fucking drag.

When I finally came out, it was late April, and everything was in bloom. I got to my room and my best friend at the time blasted "I'd Like to Live In a Wigwam" for me.

The largest aircraft wing built for passenger flights was unveiled yesterday.

The 45-metre wing was built by Airbus at its factory in Broughton, north Wales and will be used on the world’s largest commercial aeroplane.

The twin-aisle, twin-deck Airbus A380, which aims to set the standard for all large aircraft developments, will be able to carry 555 passengers.
