Kid Rock's "All Summer Long"
He managed to kill two great songs, "Werewolves Of London" and "Sweet Home Alabama", at once.

That's unforgivable.

2. Never been a fan
and that butchery didn't help.

And when he tried to make his own classic it went "Baw witda baw badangadang diggy diggy"

I am not looking forward to future archaeologists unearthing THAT treasure. I just know my generation will somehow be held accountable for it.

4. When I See People Listening To It As It Was Good I Question Their Taste
That has to be the worst song ever.

8. Even his own "classic" wasn't his own.
Bawitdaba was taken from a sample of The Sugarhill Gang's "Rapper's Delight". So pretty much all he's capable of doing is mangling the great works of others.

5. And it's played EVERYwhere.
Bars. Weddings. Banquets. Malls. Radio. Restaurants. Sporting events.

It's the dumbest shit I've ever heard, yet DuhMurikUH is in LOVE with this song. In LOVE with it.

Each of Kid Rock's albums sell in the millions.

It's utterly amazing and severely depressing, with so many more deserving rock acts, that this is who gets superstardom . . . someone who's so, so, SO BAD at this sort of thing.

And there's no "subjective" about this . . . he's goddamned TERRIBLE. Just terrible, TERRIBLE garbage.

9. Actually he is really good at what he does.
I don't care for his act either, but if you want a steaming pile of rap/metal with classic rock samples, BOB IS YOUR MAN!

10. He's a Shitesseur.
The mother of all unfairness in life was when he got onstage at Run-DMC's Rock Hall induction. Such a cringe-worthy moment.

7. Pisses me off because I think it IS Werewolves of London when it starts.
Then the CRASHING disappointment of "Kid Rock".

:puke:

The other song that makes me heave is whatever
"No Doubt" song that starts off with the first
few chords of "Breakfast in America".

12. He's thought of highly in these parts.
Lives about 10 miles from me. Does a lot for the local community and the Detroit region. Lots of charitable giving, supporting various causes.

That being said, never been a fan of his music.

I can tolerate him more than Bob Seger, another hometown favorite.

14. I heard the same
I loathe this song and thought Kid Rock an almost completely talentless hack (except for the song "Only God Knows Why" which is not half-bad, except for the self-aggrandizement. Then I heard about how he held some concert and gave free beer to the fans; seemed like a stand-up guy. I guess maybe he's a little bit like Jimmy Buffet - I hate Buffet's music but love the guy himself for his friendly, carefree attitude. God figure...

18. When one can take the work of another, very succesful work I might add,
and by adding your own, special 'take' on it therefore turning it into a steaming pile of smelly turds so offensive it make skunk's eyes water, you just may be a no-talent hack.

I don't care how many records he sells; it just goes to show that there are millions of Philistines in this nation who wouldn't know real talent if it bit them in the ass.
