How cool was last night's Top Chef - Just Desserts **spoilers**
They had Ad-Rock from the Beastie Boys as their guest judge and it had to be the most original cooking contest.

Each of the Pastry Chefs had to pick 2 food items from the Beastie Boy Food Pantry, which was basically food & beverages mentioned in a Beastie Boy song. Thing is most of these foods were non-traditional dessert ingredients like peas, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy and even a 40oz beer. What's worse, after each chef picked 2 ingredients they then took turns picking an ingredient for one other chef. So some guy who thought he had it made with Rum and Coffee ended up with peas for his 3rd ingredient.

I felt bad for the loser because she not only was a big beastie boy fans but a decent pastry chef to go home. And she had to make a dessert out of ham, 40oz beer and Falafal.
