Anyone here familair with portable keyboards? What about the roll-up type?

1. I got one for a seldom-used computer because the real keyboard kept falling on the cables

where I kept it

roll-up, but I keep it unrolled

ok for occasional use, but it would drive me batty as a fulltime keyboard: the keys all work, but some keystrokes aren't detected unless I deliberately mash straight down hard: this is especially irritating when entering stuff like passwords where the actual keystroke isn't echoed to the screen

3. ok. but i'd bet you'll have a similar experience, to what i described, with an inexpensive

roll-up musical keyboard

4. They sound great when played in a Jeffries Tube, deep within the Enterprise

and in duet with a Ressikan flute.
