Best Non-Musical Movie Soundtrack?
I'd have to go with Pretty In Pink:

"If You Leave" (Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark)
"Left of Center" (Suzanne Vega/Joe Jackson)
"Get to Know Ya" (Jesse Johnson)
"Do Wot You Do" (INXS)
"Pretty in Pink" (The Psychedelic Furs)
"Shellshock" (New Order)
"Round, Round" (Belouis Some)
"Wouldn't It Be Good" (Danny Hutton Hitters)
"Bring On the Dancing Horses" (Echo & the Bunnymen)
"Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want" (The Smiths)

Some really good alt, pop, and new wave stuff there. Captures the mid-80s perfectly. 'Course, that could be a bad thing. :D

My runner-up is the soundtrack to the Lord of the Rings films. "Gollum's Song" just makes me cry every time I hear it.

1. The remake of Dawn of the Dead
It is not available to buy... I have to look at the disk one of these days, see what all the songs are and make my own disk of it. Lots of great songs though.
