13. I rather enjoyed the character of Maryanne on the sitcom 'Cybill'
Played by Christine Baranski, who did a really good job bouncing the punch lines off of straight-woman Cybill Shepherd. The show was on for about 3 or 4 seasons back sometime in the late 80s or early 90s, I think (I know it was post-'Moonlighting' fiasco).

14. Cybill was the 80s. The 90s version of the upscale female drunk was Karen from Will & Grace
Edited on Mon Sep-26-11 01:44 PM by LynneSin
Meghan Mullahy was wicked funny in that role. But Christine Baranksi originated it for sure.

28. Richard Harris for the win.
Several reasons:

1) One time, he got so shitfaced he woke up without a clue as to his whereabouts or how he got there. He knew his wife had hired a private investigator to tail him, as she was seeking a divorce at the time, so he called the P.I.'s office to ask them where he was.

2) He once staggered into his hotel, took off all his clothes, and climbed into bed, not realizing that he was actually in another couple's room.

3) Elizabeth Taylor kicked him out of her house after she caught him drinking her perfume.

4) When he finally decided he'd had enough with booze, he rented out a club, invited his friends over, and they all partied and pounded massive amounts of expensive champagne. Starting the next morning, he didn't drink again for 13 years, and after that only Guinness.

Dude was badass.
