1. Every time I watch Monk, I savor the connection:

2. I love Monk. I've seen Silence of the Lambs a number of times.

Until now, I never realized that Cpt Stottlemeyer = Buffalo Bill.

Because frankly Buffalo Bill creeps me out so badly that if he wasn't a good actor I couldn't watch.

I posted this recently after watching a documentary about the making of Silence of the Lambs--the actress who played his victim in the pit said that the two of them went out to dinner together in the evenings when they were shooting that just because they were both so frightened by what was oging on between them that they had to reestablish that they were just two people acting.
