What is your favourite museum/art gallery. I like the Rodin Museum in Paris. Rodin's stuff is
great, but Camille Claudell's stuff looks like it could bust free and come alive.

1. Art Institute in Chicago. If I don't get there while I'm visiting, I feel like I'm missing an old
friend.

5. Yes.
'Though most famous for being the permanent home for eight Water Lilies murals by Claude Monet, the museum also contains works by Paul Cézanne, Henri Matisse, Amedeo Modigliani, Pablo Picasso, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Henri Rousseau, Alfred Sisley, Chaim Soutine, Maurice Utrillo among others.'

9. Hirshhorn.
Edited on Sun Sep-25-11 08:48 AM by Chan790
I'm a huge contemporary art nerd making the Hirshhorn my favorite of the Smithsonian museums, the fact it's free makes it better. I'm a donor as well so I get to attend the preview receptions and see the new collections before they open to the public, get free admission to After Hours events and tours with curators.
