Two orange babies in a box
Sad story...happy ending.

A guy scooted a strange cat out of his cellar...
Several days later found three kittens...
They should have been dead.

He felt terrible...a friend stepped in...
They wouldn't take a bottle or dropper...
They were so very tiny...
A calico and her two brothers...
She cared for them....an angel....life.

I saw the babies...knew a dad looking for a kitten for his little girl...
Young lady...Daddy's little girl forever.
I asked....he said she wanted one.
Then he asked if they could take both.

The woman who rescued said 'maybe' as someone wanted one of the babies...
She was keeping the calico...
She preferred that they could have a home together...

I took a picture of the babies before I delivered them.
Found a box at work...

Last night they found their forever home.
Love, children...(whatever age)...joy.
Goofy male German shepherd loved and licked them...
His 'welcome to our home'...

Sometimes...
All is well in this world.....
For the moment.

Now...out for the evening....
With escape plan...

Sharing happiness.

peace & love to all~

1. Bast the Protector watches over Her children.
She also rewards those that show compassion to Her subjects.

2. I am taking care of 4 babies + trying to tame mom cat now named Erica Kane
Very young female. I feed about 15 ferals. This is her second pregnancy and she never showed up with babies the first time.

I was able to cage her and she is now in my back bedroom with her babies. She was trying to stuff them in my car. I actually drove around with two of them tucked under the front headlight. I cringe thinking that one might have fallen out somewhere during the short 7 mile drive.

I'm glad my slackerness kicked in and I skipped class that night - 42 mile round trip. That was the night I found them.

3. I'm sorry they got separated from their mama at such a young age.
I hope the man who inadvertently kicked Mom out of his cellar realizes he wound up giving her babies a better life than they would had otherwise. Life as a feral sucks. These two sweeties now have a safe home with a little girl. And, their sister has a good home, too. Can't beat that!

5. I'm glad this had a happy ending -- PLUS, two siblings are going to the same home!
:loveya:

Just like how I can't ever watch "Old Yeller" again, I usually skip threads about abandoned or orphaned animals.

11. Several years ago
My spouse found an orange kitten like those beside the road. It looked like someone had just dumped him off, He brought him home, and my daughter adopted him.

He is now a big sleek cat. We tell him he is a very lucky kitty.

And so are the ones you rescued.

12. LOVE
Thank you all for words of kindness...caring...

I don't know anything about the man who scooted out the mother...
I'd like to think he thought that she had a family awaiting her, got stuck...and so he let her go...to find her way home.
I want to believe that....and so I will.

He did freak out when he discovered kittens, and asked for help...from his friends.
He didn't know what do to...In this case, I'm happy that he just didn't dump them off at the local shelter...there are too many cats awaiting a home... And I think that most would take babies rather than the older cats who need love....They most likely would have been separated. I'm thankful that his friend was a wonderful woman who took the babies in....nursed them back to health....happiness. They are so very lovable in spite of only having mother-love for a very short time....

And they are now raising hell, playing, purring....It's like their past is behind them.
I'm also thrilled that they are together.....A family filled with love....
Hearts big enough for two more....Life is good.

I took in an orange kitten many years ago....I'll never forget him. Tommy Pancake.

These babies are now in a loving home...wanted and loved.

I did nothing. I was the middle person. All I did was deliver two babies.
And that's all I need to know...

Happiness...Love

peace and love to all~
