http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sable_Island

I want to go to Sable Island. It is a long sandbar off the coast of Nova Scotia that has 350 shipwrecks and wild horses on it. I'd love to have a week and some snorkeling gear on that island. I have a distant uncle who went. Hard for tourists to get there though.

1. I want to get to Petra!
If you saw the very first Indiana Jones movie, you saw Petra in the opening and closing credits...

It's a city carved out of the red sandstone! It is very beautiful, and quite remote. It's in Jordan, I think...

I really want to get there.

2. I saw a museum display of Petra. Was really cool. There were kitchy tourist kiosks right
there amongst the stone buildings. But yeah...it is awe inspiring.

4. I'm so afraid of yellowstone ever since I found out the whole park is really just the crater
of a huge super volcano. :scared:

5. I didn't know that.
Doesn't deter me, though. :)

My dream is to drive across the country, seeing places like Mount Rushmore and the other national parks. Maybe someday....

12. From my understanding of what will happen if/when it blows,
maybe the best place to be is at ground zero.

14. You are probably right. Being chocked to death by ash in Canada wouldn't be much fun.

7. Hell.
applegrove

I want to go to Hell before I die...
I know that I'll not see it after my demise...;)

Which way to Hell?
South?

If I can't go to Hell....then I'd pick another place I've never seen....like Heaven.
:hi:

peace~

10. Two places
Not necessarily hard to get to but time and money can make it seem so.
Close to each other, so that helps.
Gros Morne National Park and L'Anse aux Meadows.

13. Brittany. I've read so many cool novels about it.........
The atmosphere of all those novels is just so deliciously gothic and eerie. Killer expensive, tho.

and an authentic menu to die for, but the name escapes me at the moment...ah, once before I die!
