Yes, that is indeed my first concern. Witty, geeky, and activist sticker suggestions wanted.

1. Start off with a NORML, EarthFirst!, Free Mumbia, and an NRA sticker

That'll make them go hmmmm

On edit: I don't give the bastards any warning as to what I'm up to.

2. You should certainly have a DU bumpersticker!
AND you should have one of these: I got mine from Zazzle...

Have a ball!

29. Well yes, I have to admit that
the image showing one fish humping another might get some folks upset.

For one thing, the "ichthys" fish needs Greek letters, not Latin ones.

And furthermore, fish don't copulate the way mammals do.

I can see how a biologist or a classicist might be offended.

30. I am not worried about the biologists or classicists, but
I gotta tell you, those Fundies will NOT be amused to have a Darwin "fish" humping a Christian fish.

They have no sense of humor.

31. But you can have fun with fundies.
I once had a car with the license plate 1ACS666.
I would say that it stood for the First American Church of Satan.

Some fundies were dumb enough to believe me.

14. I'll have to get that. I can laugh at myself.
I've been a sticker addict since I was a little girl. I actually have one sticker I've been saving since I was 12 that I finally get to use, I'm really excited about that... And the band it's for isn't even around anymore!

25. Don't listen to the sticker snobs. I like them too.
I also had one for years, for no good reason because I had a car, just didn't use it. Finally put it on my car and I have had people follow me into a parking lot to ask about it. "Immunize your coyote". It was a Texas wildlife sticker to remind people about rabies and vaccinations, but it seems to be too vague for some people. They want to know if I have a coyote. LOL.

You will find bumper stickers you will want, just keep looking. And of course, you can get new ones and get rid of the ones you have outgrown if you choose. Or you can be like a Quaker and use them all. Every time I go to a Quaker meeting, I can pick out the cars that belong to the meeting.

33. Once I made my own bumper sticker.
There was an election coming up, and I didn't like either candidate.

My bumper sticker said

THEY BOTH STINK.

Nowadays I would say "they both suck", but back in the 1960s "suck" usually meant "perform fellatio", which was not my intended meaning.

34. Here's a tip for your stickers on your new car:
Go to a crafts store and buy a roll of magnetic sheets. You just stick the bumper sticker to a sheet and presto magic! You now have a magnet that can be removed and reused without damaging your car!
