1. After years of wishing and trying to juggle unsuccessfully, I finally got...

... the "Juggling for Dummies" book that came with three small beanbag cubes
that were much more forgiving than something unyielding like rubber balls.
.
AND I learned probably the most important advice for beginning jugglers EVER:
.
You will have a natural tendency to throw the objects slightly forward at first --
ending up CHASING and losing them.
.
SO...
.
Juggle while standing no more than a foot or so away from a wall that you're
FACING -- the objects will carom off the wall and back to where your hand is
waiting rather than forward and progressively more out-of-reach.
.
After following that advice, I was juggling in no time at all -- and embarassing
my GF in grocery store after grocery store. She learned quickly to stay away
from me in produce departments -- "Look, honey -- CANTALOUPES!!! Oops."
