1. Cash ruled

He was something special. He walked to the beat of his own drum. Loved his quote when the record company guy told him not to play the prison that his fans were Christian and they'd be pissed if he played for a bunch of criminals. he said something like, 'if they get mad about this then they aren't very Christian' or something like that.

Johnny was a great man with great ideals.

Another great quote of his...when he played for the troops in Vietnam they asked was he a hawk now? And he responded by saying, "Im a dove with claws".

RIP Johnny Cash...your like will never be seen again.

4. Yeah. He was great. Back in the '70s there was a lot more
activism around prisoner's rights and things are much in many ways worse now.
