1. The same way the rest of us do when we've a ballgag in our mouth and our hands bound.
We Don't!
We just hope the hookers don't find our emergency cash hidden in our shoe.

3. But why gag them?
They aren't gonna hear 'em yell.

4. Wouldn't it depend on what their safeword is?

6. Being handcuffed doesn't restrict one's ability to fingerspell.
It just means you have to spell where one's hands are...which means you might have to make angry noises and/or headbutt someone in order to make them realize that you're talking.

It gets a bit more complex when you're trying to have real communication during lovemaking, such as:

(Admittedly, there is a much better ASL way to say that...but the Gallaudet typeface limits me to fingerspelling and excludes representative signs.)

8. Well then...
they must not want to be saved very badly?

(For what I think are obvious reasons, I've found people communicating with ASL to be vastly superior spellers. It's kind of daunting because I'm just learning now and I keep having to stop and think, not because I've forgotten a sign but because I have to think "how the f&&k do I spell "turnstile" and "harassed" again?". I mean I know how to spell them if I stop and think, but it's not automatic.)

11. Head shakes are pretty standard
Usually a prearranged set of grunts would accompany them

14. Feel, not hear.
Edited on Wed Sep-14-11 05:49 PM by Chan790
To test the veracity of this, go place a hand pretty-much anywhere on your SO's body and have them clear their throat. Now, have them grunt. The grunt is to draw attention, even if you can't hear it, usually you can feel it.

I still have my hearing but since I became attuned to these things when my hearing started to degrade slightly and I decided that it'd be career-useful to be able to sign and work with the deaf community, I realize that I can usually ID who is entering a room even when my back is turned by the cadence, strike and weight of their foot-falls. (Most people are capable of this and do it without thinking about it.)

16. They "drop the ball"
When a bottom is in any gear or situation that would prevent them from clearly expressing themselves, the person running the scene will put something in one of their hands. Often, this is a ping pong ball, a tennis ball, or rubber ball of some kind. That it because these objects are easily available, easy to hold and highly noticeable when they go rolling around the floor. If the bottom needs to stop the scene, he/she releases the object ("drop the ball"). In addition, it is hard for an unconscious person to hold their hand in a tight enough fist to keep holding the ball. So if the bottom passes out, the top will know it immediately.

Not that I've ever done anything like that, of course. :P
