I stumbled across this site while websurfing last night out of boredom. Having come of age in the early 1980s, I was around when MTV first appeared on the scene. I remember how incredibly cool some of the first British New Wave bands seemed back then. Looking back, well, not so much, but still good for a romp in nostalgia land.

I found this woman's critiques quite humorous, and I enjoyed the good-natured fun she poked at one of the 80's biggest bands.

1. I remember one, went something like this--
They stole the band Japan's looks, but forgot the talent and creativity.

I'm paraphrasing from memory. Duran Duran, to incontextually quote Count Zero, "...left a taste in my mouth that requires a rinse."
