So screwn, a new luna and maybe two more in orbit

Last night, I broke up a beery party that went too late and found this thing running around the far west corner of the ranch. She's so young, she still sounds like a squeak toy, maybe 5 weeks, maybe.





I'm told there may be two more running around down there that I didn't spot in the light of the moon:

I better get down there and see who else is fixing to be coyote bait.

But there is NO room at the inn. I can barely keep up with my 6. Ah, hell.

3. One of the ladies that boards her horses here picked up

the two other sibs (Thank you, lawd).

There's still one at large and I'm not optimistic about finding it because it's been hot here and there's no kitten food laying around. But I did go down to the west forty and asked the gentlemen there to please keep an eye out. If they all keep one out between them, I'll be surprised. Maybe I'll go out there with smelly food later, just in case.

Which leaves us with Luna. She's NOT stayng and please hope with me I can find a rescue group to pick her up because our local shelter is right out of the question.
