2. I don't mind a soy latte from Starbucks because the soy milk takes the edge off the bitterness.....

...... but I much prefer to buy Illy, Lavazza or Dahlmayr and brew it at home. Tastes so much better than 'Bucks.

3. I used to drink Starbucks Decaf

but switched to New England decaf after reading the following article, and was glad I did. A much tastier decaf.

4. Starbucks overroasts EVERYTHING...

Their Colombian, which should be a light coffee, comes across like an ultra-dark roast. Bleh!

(DISCLAIMER: I don't buy anything from Starbucks anymore, since their CEO sold our NBA team out of town without giving local buyers a chance to keep it in Seattle.)

5. That seems an unfair criticism considering...

that the Bennett group bidding on the team was chosen in part because they at-least were willing to agree to sit down with the city to attempt to hash out the KeyArena issues in order to keep the team in Seattle. Neither of the major local bidding groups were willing to buy the team unless the city made concessions in advance of the sale. Those concessions were the same ones the city of Seattle refused to make to Bennett after the sale, thinking they could win in court and compel the Sonics to continue to play in a shitty falling-apart out-of-date arena for the lease remainder. The city lost, then refused to discuss a new arena then were shocked that Bennett actually started making arrangements towards moving the team...and still did nothing to keep the Sonics in Seattle. Plenty of chances there to keep the Sonics between the time Schultz sold and Bennett moved the team.

(This is hardly the Fleecing of Hartford by Pete Karmanos or the Midnight Flight from Baltimore of Bob Irsay.)

If you want to be mad at someone, be mad at Bennett for buying the team in bad faith (though that seems a dubious claim) and your city government for being so thrifty it chased the Sonics out and waved good riddance. Be mad at the other ownership groups for being unwilling to go further than Bennett to keep the team in Seattle. Even be mad at Schultz for being unwilling to keep fighting with the city and losing money.

But to be mad at Schultz for the team actually relocating seems a bridge too far...it was 2 full years after he sold.
