1. I saw "To Kill a Mockingbird" when I was 11

It's still one of my favorite movies.
I went to see "Oklahoma!" with my family when we were on vacation when I was 5. We had the record album from the Broadway musical and I knew at least parts of most of the songs when I was a kid.

2. I was a teen when I saw "To Kill A Mockingbird". Would be a great movie for a kid to see.

3. My favorite was "The Wizard of Oz."

When my son was little, he used to love to tell me what was going to happen next in "The Wizard of Oz," or to give an analysis of the movie in brief comments.

When he was about eight, he told me that the scarecrow was actually a pretty smart guy, even without a brain. The scarecrow was always thinking.

5. "Hair" and "The Frisco Kid"

I suppose it depends on what age you are speaking of, The Wizard of Oz was always a special night once a year every year. But to this day I will watch those movies to death.

6. Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein

At 7 yrs old I could never get enough of the countless Frankenstein, Dracula and Wolfman movies. And here they all were, together, in one movie! It was the greatest moment in movie history. When it opened at my nabe movie house there were lines of kids around the block. Pandemonium!

10. First movie that REALLY got my attention was "Jaws"

Shortly after that "Star Wars" came along and added a whole new genre to geek.

Star Wars was the first movie I watched multiple times in the theater.

I'll still watch Jaws to the conclusion when I come across it on a cable station MOST of the time.

Star Wars....meh. What version of it has been released this week? Totally lost interest in that after all the Lucas contriving of the story.

11. I've never been real big on movies

Partly because I was a kid during the disaster movie craze. The Towering Inferno, the Poseidon Adventure.
