Hoffa visits Puyallup and I never heard a word about it!
Corporate geocery store Fred Meyers is squeezing its employees on health care premium increases. Jimmy Hoffa's son came to Puyallup to show support for these Fred Meyer workers which was a surprise to me. I subscribe to the local Morning News Tribune and read the headlines every morning with some of the inside articles. Never saw a word stating that Hoffa was coming otherwise I'd been there demostrating and supporting Hoffa. I had always thought the Morning News Tribune tried to give a balanced view between left and right. I'm begining to wonder if that is so. I know there is a conservative editor or not more than one. It seems to me the right wing conservative view gets more editorals on the opinion pages. Yet I've seen letters to the editor from both sides of an issue most of the time. I felt the fact that Hoffa was coming to Puyallup should have been head line news not buried in the body of the paper.
