my poor fat cat

she licked herself nearly raw under her tail, the vet said it was due to an impacted gland. on top of all the indignity of the vet visit and the cone, we have to give her antibiotics. she's normally very chatty, but she hasn't said a word to me since i got home.

i expect an earful from her at some point, but she'll forget all about it once she's better and will be back to talking my ear off.

6. hmmm... I'd look at that second photo again
That is the face of a kitty realizing that Dim One can be used to her advantage... the Kitty Conspiracy. When she's through with you you can write the book... that is after you have all your limbs reattached and rebuilt the house.

8. Ah, the cone of humiliation.
That's the way our cat felt wearing it. But it probably saved her life.

When she was a kitten she went outside with it on. Minutes later I saw a red tailed hawk sitting in a tree above her looking down at her. I imagine if she hadn't had that weird thing around her neck, that hawk would have made a tasty snack out of her.
